Better US Schools

In most, if not all, school districts in America, if a student can not complete an academic path, he or she is so disencouraged that they drop out, or they are not allowed to graduate. This leaves a huge population that is not prepared to earn a living only because they did not get, or were not capable to understand, the academics.

In many other countries, Israel and France I know of, during the 8th grade the student makes a decision to take an academic path or a technical one. The academic path will prepare the student for college. The technical one will prepare the student for earning a living! Skilled labor is needed in America and we need to be the ones to teach the skills, even to those who are not academically oriented.
